Gay shame

Gay Shame is a movement from within the queer communities described as a radical alternative to gay mainstreaming.

Many LGBTQ+ folks grew up enduring chronic shame in response to cultures of anti-queerness. It can be helpful for LGBTQ+ folks to view their experience of chronic shame as a form of complex.
